We ended 2003 with three pregnant mares, Wendy,  Brechtsje and Sebeline...

   Who started having foals the next spring...

First Bretta...Reina TCF born 4.28.06           Then Wendy Had Sjearp TCF on 4.29.05  ..  and then Sebeline  had Sasse TCF on 5.18.05

Then we all grew up a bit, and went to the Friesian Inspection in Clovis....Boy was that fun!   First Reina came out, prancing around with her Mum and got a Second Premium!   Now that was cool, but then she got to be the Champion Filly too!  With a lovely ribbon for her mom wear, since she had gotten a chip inserted, and was in no mood to be touched by the judges anymore!

Then the boys came out, and first Sasse won a Second Premium,  which was very good, even though he did everything but dance on the judges table!  He was quite carried away with himself.  So when Sjearp came out and just paced around the ring with his mom, Wendy, and looked SOOOO good, that he earned a FIRST PREMIUM!...  We were very proud.  Then he got to be the Champion Colt for the day, and even Sasse got to be the Reserve Chamion Colt....So all in all it was a pretty good day.   :-))
