News!!

• Oct 2,2007...In a class of 16 Mares repeat for Ster at her inspection in Pomona, (the largest in the country),  Lyra was #1!! She was awarded a Second Premium Star, and came very close to being first premium!   She was invited back in for the final round with all the other "hot" mares..including her half-sister, Inga .  We were so proud of her.  Sonja and Tony have done a wonderful job, and we could not be more pleased.  We are anxious to bring her home and enjoy her.   She will be bred to Doaitsen 420 in the spring. 
• Same day,  Lyra's half sister Inga,  scored an 84.6 on her driving IBOP.  That is the highest score in the United States, and there was only one higher score in the world!!! Great job Inga,  congratulations to Marc and Erin DiLeo, her proud owners.
• 8/1/7...Lyra has done very well at her first show, Friesian Day at the Ventura County Fair..First place in Walk /Trot Novice, Second place for Dressage Suitability and then Third for the W/T Championship class...out of 8 entrants!  We are very proud of her and thanks to Sonja Zinke and Tony Aldana for her care and training!  Thank you  Trina for doing such a good job on our girl!!
  
• Inga, Ster, won the Ride and Drive competetion with Tony Aldana, for the second year in a row.  Congrats to that winning team.
  
• Second Foal of the Year...Bretta delivered Willem on 7/17/07....much anticipated, and a gorgeous colt.  Loooong legs, beautiful head and face and conformation to die for!  He is Wander x Gradus x Nammen,  and this has turned into a very nice combination.  See more on the 2007 Foals page......
• First Foal of the year.....Sebeline surprised us on day 320 with a beautiful filly.  Big and healthy, very spunky and a real knockout just like her big sister, Inga.  Her Name is Ziva TCF.
• Lyra got to go to her first Parade!!  She was Auntie Erin's mount in the Cherry Valley Parade on June 9th!  She did very well and we are very proud of her!
• Tyra has gone to Arizona, and is doing well with Sally.  We are so happy for them.
• Lyra has gone to Southern California for Inspection conditioning and driving instuction.  She is currently at Sunshine Friesians with Tony Aldana and Sonja Zinke for the summer...
• Tye and Tristan have gone home to So Cal!   In December, Jen and Fred and their daughter Jordyn came up and picked up the boys for the trip down south.  The trip was uneventful, and both boys are at their new homes.  Tye really liked Fred,  but I think Jen will be the one to win him over for the long run.  
  
• News Flash!!!   Inga, Ster...(Anton 343 x Sjaard 320) was the HIGH POINT Overall and in Driving at the IFSHA Grand Nationals last week(11/06,  in Las Vegas! She entered a variety of classes and did very well. She is also high point in the USEF Friesian Driving Classification!
  
• Foals are home from the inspections......one First Premium! Two Reserve Champion Fillies!  Tye and Tristan solid second premiums....Tyra Second premium, Reserve Champion Filly
  
• Uma continues to develope into a gorgeous filly ..First Premium..Reserve Champion Filly.. Visalia..
• Breeding to Anton 343 and Wander 346 for next years foals...Sebeline bred back to Anton, Bretta bred to Wander 352.  His son Doaitson had more First Premie offspring than any other stallion last year...approved or unapproved!!
